You Only have one Life


I think many people get confused with what life they live. Nobody knows which way you'll go, it's up to you. Nobody can control you, the best someone can do is guide you. "I can lead you to the water but cannot make you drink".

Yes we all make mistakes, but one of the common mistakes us humans make is living two lives. Whether it be- Church life, what our parents want, impressing different groups of friends, religious groups, impressing our co-workers or pleasing people, etc.

• We like to change depending on who we're with, thats a common mistake we all make. But one I've noticed a lot is, constantly making the same mistake and learning the hard way. And most of the time, we know it's wrong. But just do it anyways. "Is it too much to ask, to simply stop and think?"

• Another is, we find fullfilment in earthly things. Like: how many likes we get on instagram or facebook, bragging about our money or gifts, constantly buying new things, partying, our boyfriends/girlfriends etc. It's totally okay to share with people and brag here and there (if it's done with the right mind set). But when you try to live independently of God, you expierence of empitness and dissatisfaction.

Basically,
We may think we're gaining so much from living these two seperate lives or being filled with temperary happiness through earthly things, but truthfully, we're losing everything that really counts. God wants you to live close to Him, even with all the mistakes you've made. Surreneder to Him. Surrender everything you've done wrong, and everything that you've put before Him to make Him last prioity. God puts us through hard times, and paths that dont alien us. But TRUST in Him, and what He is doing is best for you.

*If you live this one life wholeheartedly, you will discover so much more things about yourself that you never knew.

My inspiration for this blog post was from a song called "Only have one" by JJ Heller. She is amazing, look up the song.

Attention all couples and single people. I was having a conversation with my guy friend the other day, talking about how my boyfriend was taking me on a date tonight. He thought it was cute and replied by saying "Not many boyfriends take their girlfriends on dates still". And to be honest, it's kind of true.
No, grabbing some food from chickfila on a random tuesday night doesn't count as a "date night".

Couples: I'm talking about a planned dinner date, when you have the excuse to dress cute and not have to worry about being somewhere afterwards. Just to enjoy eachotheres company. Yes, we're texting and talking to our boyfriend/girlfriend through out the day. But it's more personal when talking over a table of delicous food ;)
Just kidding, but I'm being serious! I still get really excited for dates. This is just a random date him and I are going on, and I can't wait! I've been looking foward to it!

Single people: Now you're probably like... what the heck.. I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend.. so thanks for making me feel like a loner. WELL HAVE NO FEAR! Because there is something for you too! Guys, every girl want's to be taken out on a date. (yes, bolding and underlining the word "every" was necessary) This doesn't mean you have to be dating her. Just a simple, "hey wanna go get a bite to eat, just me and you?". I am sure she will say yes! (Unless you're some random creep who just likes her posts on facebook and doesn't even talk to her... then yeah don't try this).
I feel like now days, in order to go on a "date", you have to be dating. This is not true!!
Girls, As much as we wish a guy would just show up at our door with flowers ready to pick us up for dinner.... it's not going to happen. We can't blame the guys for not doing cute things for us like they used to do back in the day.... We have to encourage them to do the cute things for us like they used to back in the day ;)
Just give ideas to them. Maybe just throw a few hints, here and there.

So a little recap:

• Couples: go on a date now. Enjoy eachothers compay, and make eachother smile.
• Single guys: go ask a girl out for some icecream or something.

Designing clothes

A fresh start

So I've decided to make a blog. This wont be the first time I've attempted this. I made a blog a few years ago, so I thought today, hmm I should try and find it. Nope. Completely forgot the name and everything.

SO, this is my new blog! Welcome to Regan's Reality! (kinda cheesy right?) I like alliteration, it just rolls off the tongue.

• Why am I making a blog now?

Well to answer that question, this past year has been crazy in so many ways! I would always say "Where's the cameras?" or "I need my own reality TV show". So.. this was the closest thing to it. I'm going to share stories, pictures, and thoughts. Hope you Enjoy :)
